Vehicle Description

Fabulous little diesel truck. Never fails to start and take me anywhere. Great fuel mileage. Who was the corporate bright guy that decided to stop importing them in the 80's? I have owned it for many years and rarely drove it so decided to sell it as I have too many vehicles. It is an automatic that shifts flawlessly with power steering and brakes and that is pretty much it. It has been recently painted and a couple of years ago I got the seat recovered and it looks like new. Original floor coverings have no holes or tears in them, no broken glass, everything works. Recent new glow plugs make it start easily in colder weather. Tires have about 75% left on them. I wouldn't be afraid to start it and drive it anywhere. Vehicle is in excellent condition. I have friends that have owned these little diesel Pups that still drive them with over 300,000 miles on the original engine. Mechanically, this vehicle has had required almost no maintenance since I have owned it with the exception of a muffler, new tires and shocks, etc. It just runs and runs like the Energyzer Bunny.

Negatives: There is a barely noticable exhaust leak somewhere between the muffler and the engine but I haven't found where it is yet. There is a slight oil drip coming from the back of the engine somewhere, slight not a lot of oil. Engine uses almost no oil between oil changes. A couple of rust spots were repaired when the vehicle was painted.
